We are excited to introduce the Robinson Handcrafted Flugelhorn Mouthpiece range, starting with the 4ZF & 4ZWF  models, available in early 2025. Each mouthpiece is crafted with meticulous care in our workshop, combining precision machining with the attention to detail that only a small, dedicated business can provide.
 
Model 4ZF Specifications (Identical to the 4Z Cornet Mouthpiece)
Cup Diameter (4): 16.50mm
Cup Depth (Z): Deep, designed to produce a rich, resonant tone.
Rim Type: Standard rim width.
Throat Size: 4.6mm
Backbore: Open V, carefully designed to complement the throat and cup size.
Shank Taper: "L" Standard = Large fitting often called "Large Morse" for USA and Japanese instruments
 
Model 4ZWF Specifications (Identical to the 4ZW Cornet Mouthpiece)
Cup Diameter (4): 16.50mm
Cup Depth (Z): Deep, designed to produce a rich, resonant tone.
Rim Type (W): Wide rim for enhanced comfort and support.
Throat Size: 4.6mm
Backbore: Open V, carefully designed to complement the throat and cup size.
Shank Taper: "L" Standard = Large fitting often called "Large Morse" for USA and Japanese instruments.
 
-SHANK SIZE- "L" or "S" is stamped on the shank for Large or Small tapers. 
 
These are the first of many models in development, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of players seeking a truly personal touch in their equipment.
 
Finish Options
Choose from two silver plating finishes, both included at no extra cost:
Bright Silver: A polished, reflective finish.
Brushed Silver: A sleek, satin aesthetic .
 
Gold plating is also available upon request (additional charges apply). For custom finishing or special modifications, including throat size adjustments, please contact us directly.
